feeling bella
Posted on Monday, November 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 amlast saturday, i went on a trip to my childhood province. its not exactly a province now but in my heart, it will always be.
it was drizzling when i arrived but even a little water falling from the skies and lotsa mud won’t stop me from exploring the old places were we used to stay.
first stop: the creek below my uncle’s old house.
when my lola was still alive, we were always scolded by her for playing on the creek. we were always commanded to stay away from it because there are lots of engkantos living on the stones and trees beside the creek.

from the creek, i have to trudge my way up for my second stop: the forest. on some rare sunny afternoons, my cousin and i were allowed to play on the “forest”. we would climbed some of the shorter trees and bring some junkies or singkamas (white turnips) to eat while staying atop.

i was bit disappointed to see that some of the trees in the “forest” were already gone. that made my memory of the forest more endearing.
after the forest, i decided to walk around the neighborhood.

yep, our neighborhood. rubber trees! just across the old house are hordes of rubber trees. they are nice to look at daytime, but scary when the night falls. walking around the woods, i feel like bella swan on a rendezvous with edward cullen or jacob black. jeje.

since it was drizzling, it was quite muddy and i have to sacrifice the cleanliness of my chucks just to have a walk on this memory lane. hahaha. but it was worth it! never mind that i was getting wet and on risk for contracting fever and pneumonia.
i was too engrossed with the scenery that i lost track of time and erm… somehow, my way out of the woods. just following some wider paths, i was able to get out and found my way home.
if it was me, ill definitely call up my mum for rescue. haha. poor ko direction. haha. ^___^
nice nice!
kaluoy ni kai kung masaag!!hehehe
alay sense of direction…
